Project Info i

Description:

The brief for this project was to renovate and extend to an existing cottage. A new wide entry hall was introduced on by opening up the original house to help transition into the new living areas placed at the rear, with a transition hall appearing as a plinth leading the way onto the open plan living space on one side, and acting as a focal point towards the renovated yard on the other. Landscaping platforms were introduced to create a link between the house and its sloping site behind, providing a more organic connection between indoor and outdoor.
